This session is aimed at schools that are run by charities and will provide a legal and regulatory update focused on charity law and regulation.  It will cover:

• The Charity Commission, the latest on its regulatory approach, an update on reporting serious incidents and the Commission’s new strategy
• Overview of current regulatory hotspots – including considering payments to school governors and rules for charities on trading
• Recent legal changes for charities to note – including an update on the Charities Act 2022
