This session will be for all schools and will assume that the school will have to be VAT registered and will be paying VAT on school fees from April 2025.  It will cover some of the issues and challenges around VAT for schools, and dispel some of the myths around VAT.  It will include information on how VAT impacts on schools at the current time, including when VAT returns are due, and what areas of the school services and estate are VAT chargeable, and help schools to understand the actions they should take now to prepare for the potential change in VAT legislation.
